Greg Connor

Mr. Connor is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Illinois Police Training Institute and the author of Vehicle Stops: Tactical Procedures and Safety Strategies. He is a recipient of National Fellowship to study the Application of Force relative to enforcement agencies at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA and is the co-author the Federal Use of Force model now being used nationally and internationally by more than 300 agencies. Greg is recognized as an expert witness and consultant by local, State and Federal courts in the areas of police skills, use of force, weapon alternatives, and control tactics. He has worked for years with Thomas and Means on a wide range of law enforcement programs and concepts, including Integrated Force Management. He earned his BS in Law Enforcement Police Administration from Michigan State University.
