Tim Cardwell

Tim Cardwell is a fifteen-year veteran in law enforcement, three years as a municipal police officer and the last twelve as a member of the North Carolina Highway Patrol; most recently as a sergeant. He has ten years experience in highway criminal interdiction and six years experience as a patrol officer and K-9 handler. He has been involved in over 300 major drug stops and is credited with record seizures during traffic stops in North Carolina. Tim is recognized as one of the leading Highway Interdiction Officers in the country. Since 1992, he has provided Highway Interdiction training to over 2,000 federal, state, county, and municipal officers throughout the United States. Tim serves as an Associate Instructor for the DEA’s "Operation Pipeline" program, the U.S. DOT’s Drug Interdiction Assistance Program - "Operation Convoy," and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol’s Interdiction program.
