Brian Bissett

Brian Bissett is a 17-year veteran of the Greensboro, N.C. Police Department. After serving 5 years as a patrol officer he was transferred to the tactical division where he served 1 year. He was then transferred to the vice/narcotics division, where he is currently serves as a detective in the narcotics squad.

Brian and Wayne Austin are responsible for the development and implementation of the motel/hotel narcotics enforcement program for their department. They have worked in this capacity for the past 18 months and have investigated more than 100 cases involving motel/hotel narcotics activity. In that time, more than $500,000 in us currency, 22 kilos of cocaine, 26 kilos of marijuana, 8 vehicles and 29 firearms have been seized. In addition to the seizures, 82 persons, including 9 individual who were fugitives from justice, were arrested.
